Here is an opportunity to take a deep dive into the donor stages, and the roles in which prospect researchers and frontline fundraisers play as they learn the psychological make-up of a donor. This is timely if (1) you are working on portfolios (2) you are explaining your role to your fundraiser and/or (3) as a prospect researcher your fundraiser is unsure of when to bring you into the prospect engagement cycle.
The intent of this report is to create a guide and template that extracts essential information needed from engagement into, and for, further cultivation. Readouts, call reports, and notes from prospect/donor meetings that go into nonprofit CRMs can and should be better, more robust when reviewed.
