The Forgotten CRM
Dear Diary,
When I write a poem, you know it’s the end of the year. So, here is a great new addition to the Seasonal Poem Series.
Happy Holidays, everyone!
Until next time, January 15th!

The Forgotten CRM
Is it true that all you seek is buried?
Continue to search.
Unrelenting and stubborn, I knew it, I knew the truth was right there.
You can believe in me; you can use me.
In plain sight the person’s record was there, I knew I had it.
Haste pushed you to click the wrong accounts, I forgive you.
For those unfamiliar or distant, what you search for will truly feel distant.
You choose to ignore me and trust mysterious excel sheets stricken and quickly-aged, that live outside of my humble abode – the highest form of dishonor.
Who am I to judge?
I am but a lonely space of storage, spewing queries at your demand.
A safe space of words and numbers, a world of unlimited energy and information.
Refresh the reports that I share with you, to see the numbers, figures, stories, I tell.
Create your dashboards, honest and bold.
Enter a name and an account appears.
What truths could I try to keep away from you?
Me?
Difficult to use?
The insults continue.
An extension here, a modification there – I can try and change for you. Bring forth the add-ons, the imports, if that would help.
I sit patiently, neither of us are at fault. How can I blame you for your distance?
How can I say “log-in and spend some time exploring the tabs and details?”
I cannot.
So, my patience continues as the sky stretches above us.
Feeling heavy and forgotten, I will still be here when you return.
